Maine MEP Promotes Rosemary Presnar to Operations Manager

Augusta, ME - The Maine Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Maine MEP) announced today the promotion of Rosemary Presnar to the position of Operations Manager.

In this position, Ms. Presnar's responsibilities include all field and client support operations in the state of Maine providing services to enable small and medium size manufacturers to become more globally competitive.

Ms. Presnar has been with the MEP system since 2001, starting as a project manager in Massachusetts before taking on Maine MEP operational responsibilities in June of 2004.

She has 25 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics and process engineering for companies such as Motorola and Hewlett Packard. Ms. Presnar also served 20 years with the U.S. Air Force Reserve, retiring with the rank of Captain.

Prior to joining the MEP she provided project management and consulting services for Blue Moon Industries, a value added reseller and solutions developer for Microsoft-Great Plains.

Ms. Presnar holds an M.S. in Operations and Technology Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University.

Maine MEP is an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology under the U.S. Department of Commerce. The national MEP is a network of manufacturing extension centers that provide business and technical assistance to smaller manufacturers in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
