LoLisa Bonney, CFO for Winderosa Gaskets in Dixfield, was presented the Export Achievement Award by U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Don Evans (Center). Secretary Evans was the keynote speaker at a recent luncheon hosted by the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce. Winderosa was recognized for their recent achievements in the global marketplace. Joining them is Rod Rodrigue, CEO, Maine Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Maine MEP). Winderosa’s Research Manager, Rachel Carignan, is a member of the Maine MEP Board of Directors.

While in Maine, Secretary Evans also toured D&G Machine Products in Westbrook. The Secretary also had an opportunity to meet with the company’s employees and hear their concerns about the need to have a level playing field in the global market. D&G Machine products, owned by Duane Gushee, specializes in producing custom tooling and dies for capital equipment manufacturers.
